/n/nPerforms imaging procedures at a technicallevel. Meets the qualifications to provide care for patients in thespecific age range on their assigned clinical area./n/n

JobDuties:

/n/nKnowledge of the Magnetic Resonance imaging process andsafety in the Magnetic Resonance environment./nProvides protectionto patients and personnel in accordance with prescribed safetystandards./nPrepares and positions patients for Magnetic Resonanceprocedure; thoroughly explains exam and answers patients’questions./nPerforms Magnetic Resonance Imaging proceduresincluding neuro, body, and extremity, following protocols set by aRadiologist./nPerforms venous access on all patients requiring IVcontrast administration as directed by a Radiologist./nEntersnecessary data into Radiology Imaging System, IDX Imaging Suite,and Picture Archive Communication System Image ManagementSystems./nProcesses images as necessary./nAbility to identifyanatomy on images./nPerforms quality control tests of equipment;reports any irregularities./nNotifies Team Leader and appropriatemaintenance personnel of equipment malfunctions./nShares theresponsibilities for ordering supplies; notifies appropriatepersonnel of supply levels./nActs as a Radiology liaison; providesradiological support to physicians as requested; refers problems toTeam Leader./nImaging exams and procedure tray set up requireaccess and handling of non-controlled medications./n/nWork istypically performed in a clinical environment.
