Position Summary:
The X-ray Technician will perform diagnostic imaging procedures to assist healthcare providers in diagnosing and treating patient conditions. This role requires attention to detail, excellent communication, and a commitment to safety and patient confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate X-ray and other imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Prepare patients for procedures, explaining steps and positioning them correctly. Ensure safety protocols are followed, including proper shielding and radiation exposure limits. Maintain imaging equipment and ensure rooms are cleaned and organized. Accurately record and label images and patient information. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic support. Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and facility policies.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program. Current ART (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification. Valid state radiologic technologist license CPR certifictaion Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (preferred but not required) We invite qualified candidates who are passionate about patient care and possess the necessary skills to apply for this rewarding opportunity as an X-ray Technician.
