Travel Job Description As a mammographer, alsocalled a mammography technologist, you’ll take X-ray images ofpatients’ breasts for screening and diagnosis. Working in ahospital, clinic, imaging center or other radiology setting, you’llprepare and operate equipment, explain mammograms to patients,position patients’ breasts for imaging and more. You’ll play animportant role in helping prevent and detect breast cancer.
