Summary:
Our MRI Technologists perform MRI (MagneticResonance Imaging) exams in the hospital by selecting specificsoftware parameters according to established protocols in order toassist the referring physician in diagnosis. The MRI Technologistprepares and positions patients, injects patients with contrastmedia, and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately toproduce cross-sectional images of the body.
QualificationsEducation:
Graduate of an accredited Radiography program (ARRT) orgraduate from American Registry of Magnetic Resonance ImagingTechnologist (ARM RIT) with an Associate Degree with focus inmedical image preferably
MRI Licensure, Certification,Registration:
. ARRT certification in Radiography OR ARRT MRI orAmerican Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist(ARMRIT) required.
