Position Summary:

The Interventional Radiology Tech willprovide specialized support in the Interventional Radiologyvascular suite, assisting with peripheral angiography, venography,neuro-interventions, and other advanced vascular procedures. Therole involves equipment setup, patient monitoring, steriletechnique maintenance, and assisting in complex vascularinterventions.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and maintain equipmentincluding fluoroscopy (Siemens preferred), PACS, and ultrasound.

Perform EKG lead placement, prep access sites, and recognizelife-threatening arrhythmias. Serve as room circulator or scrubtech maintaining sterile field during procedures. Assist withvascular closure systems such as Perclose and StarClose. Supportadvanced procedures including angiography, embolization, stentplacements, thrombectomy, EVAR/TEVAR, and neurological studies.

Maintain equipment inventory and stock supplies. Adhere to steriletechnique and infection control protocols. Qualifications ℜquirements: Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology or relatedvascular experience. ARRT(R) certification required; ARRT(VI)

State licensure required; pending WV state licenseacceptable but must be active before start. Experience with Cernercharting system preferred. Ability to work 4×10-hour day shiftswith on-call rotation, including weekends. Must have prior chargeexperience. Must provide minimum 2 manager or charge nursereferences within the last 2 years. Candidate must live outside a100-mile radius of the facility (75-100 miles consideredcase-by-case). Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only),COVID vaccine not required.
