Must be registered with the AmericanRegistry of Radiologic Technologists. Current Basic Life Support(BLS) required, either a certification from an American HeartAssociation (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognizedequivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for ProfessionalRescuer and Healthcare Provider. Copy of academic degree ortranscript required.
Minimum Training and Education:
Graduate froman accredited school of radiologic technology and one year ofradiologic experience. Must be registered with the AmericanRegistry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or American Registry ofMagnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT), and licensed bythe South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association. Must beable to produce very high-quality special imaging with littlesupervision. Must be able to function effectively in ateam-oriented environment. Must be familiar with age specificcriteria.
