Travel We are looking for a Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) for animmediate travel opening in Charleston, SC. The right Rad Tech musthave 1 year of experience. Read below for additionalrequirements. As a Rad Tech, you will be responsible for the use of diagnosticimaging equipment, ensuring that images are accurate and passed onto physicians for medical interpretation. Rad Techs are alsoresponsible for preparing and caring for patients undergoingradiologic testing. Tasks As a Rad Tech, you should be prepared to perform the followingtasks: Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explainimaging procedures to patients providing reassurance and support asrequired Follow orders from Physicians regarding which area of the patient’sbody needs imaging Correctly position the patient and adjust the imaging equipment toappropriate position Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure both to yourself and topatient by taking appropriate protection precautions Calibrate imaging equipment Prepare results for Physician to review Maintain accurate patient records Understand and use the McKesson PACS system Requirements Must have 1 year of experience. BLS, ARRT
(R) NationalCertification, and state-specific licensing when required. Rad Techs should be able to stand and walk for long periods oftime, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. Rad Techs must have asound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medicalterminology. Requirements
