Under the medical supervision of certified radiologists, CT technologists will produce high-quality radiographs of designated anatomical areas to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities include patient care, equipment operation, and education.

Responsibilities:

Perform CT scans and procedures under radiologist supervision (40%) Efficiently utilize imaging equipment and minimize repeat examinations (20%) Instruct and prepare patients for procedures, ensuring understanding and consent (10%) Ensure accurate orders, diagnosis, and clinical history are entered into the computer system (10%) Adhere to hospital, departmental, and safety policies, including radiation protection guidelines (10%) Assist other team members, including clerical staff, and demonstrate flexibility and accountability (10%)

South Carolina Radiation Quality Standard Association (SCRQSA) Radiographer Certification ARRT Radiography (R) Certification BLS thru the
