Local Rule:
MUSCprioritizes non-local candidates first. Radius rule is 60 miles.
Locals will be considered at local ratePrevious perm staff(thisincludes PRN) must be separated from the MUSC system for 1 yearbefore returning as a traveler.
South Carolina RN License:
MUSC willprioritize candidates that have SC license in hand. We will stillconsider candidates with a pending license at the time ofsubmission please provide proof that they have applied for thelicense or confirm that they can complete the SC walk-throughprocess. Traveler will not be cleared to report to the facilityuntil SC license is issued/active.
RTO GUIDELINE FOR AUTO OFFERS
Ifa candidate is a clinical PASS, the account manager can auto offera traveler that has 7 days or less of
NON-HOLIDAY RTO.
Anycandidate that has 7 days and/or includes holidays will have to besubmitted to the facility for approval and can delay the processWecan only submit to one MUSC unit/campus at a time. If you do submitto multiple job IDs, please mention in the submission what theirtop choice is.
Hurricane Season Travelers should be aware thatduring hurricane season, all employees and contractors may beassigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, pleaseensure travelers do not confirm a new or ext assignment during theseason. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year.
