We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Technologist for a full time (0.9 FTE) Night Shift position, scheduled Thursday through Saturday, 2100-0930. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for performing a broad range of both CT and X-Ray procedures, providing high-quality patient care and accurate diagnostic information to our medical team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work independently at times, making it ideal for a seasoned professional who is confident in their abilities. Your advanced knowledge and proficiency will be essential to ensuring delivery of exceptional patient care during the night hours.
What You’ll Bring:
A passion for patient care and a commitment to our PeaceHealth mission. Extensive experience and a proven track record in performing both routine and complex CT and X-Ray procedures. The ability to work autonomously and make sound judgements. Proficiency in preparing and equipping exam rooms, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. The ability to integrate patient history, medical records, and prior imaging to optimize exams. Strong critical thinking skills to adapt exams and resolve patient care challenges effectively. Competence in operating CT scanners for image acquisition, reconstruction, and quality control. A firm understanding of radiation safety principles (ALARA) and patient pregnancy protocols. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and colleagues. Strong organizational and analytical abilities to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
What You’ll Need:
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology ARRT – Radiography certification Advanced CT certification is required within 1 year of hire, but is highly preferred at time of hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Demonstrated venipuncture competency Minimum of 1 year of previous experience preferred. Permanent (OBMI) (RT) licensure with Permanent (OBMI) CT OR Temporary (OBMI) CT Licensure Certification (Required upon hire) Permanent (OBMI) CT Licensure within 1 year of hire OR at the expiration of the last Temporary CT (OBMI)
