Responsibilities Cat Scan Technologists are generally certified radiologictechnologists. They operate the CT equipment to create diagnosticimages of the interior parts of the human body. They prepare thepatient for the diagnostic procedures by explaining the process andpositioning the patient accurately, and as instructed by thephysician. The Cat Scan Tech is also responsible for maintainingthe Cat Scan equipment. They help the physician in reading theimages of the patients and in analysing the patient’s condition.
Most travel Cat Scan Tech positions are on hospital premises.
