The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans on patients, ensuring high-quality images for diagnostic evaluation. This role requires a strong understanding of medical imaging techniques, patient care, and safety protocols. As an MRI Technologist, you will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely imaging services. Responsibilities Operate MRI machines to capture high-quality diagnostic images Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures Screen patients for contraindications (e.g., metal implants, pacemakers) Explain MRI procedures to patients and provide reassurance Monitor patients during scans for safety and comfort Select appropriate imaging sequences and protocols Ensure adherence to MRI safety guidelines and infection control standards Review and evaluate images for clarity and diagnostic accuracy Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures Communicate with radiologists and healthcare team regarding findings Administer contrast agents when required and certified Perform routine maintenance and report equipment issues Adhere to HIPAA and institutional privacy regulations Stay updated on advancements in MRI technology and procedures
