Job Overview Are you looking for a new opprtunity with a great mission based healthcare organization? We have an opportunity for a PRN Radiology Technologist in our Imaging Department. In this crucial role, you will use your skills to support our mission for providing stellar healthcare services for our pediatric orthopedic patients. You will be supported by a simply amazing team of dedicated health professionals here at Shriners Children’s Greenville. Our Radiology Team delivers amazing care and successful outcomes to our patients, and your imaging skills and talent would be welcome here. We can’t wait to work with you! Responsibilities Assesses orders for accuracy and clarifies with providers prior to imaging. Review of images for diagnostic quality, which includes proper collimation, use of markers and postioning accuracy. Documents consistently and accurately in EMR, PACS and any other systems per hospital requirements. Demonstrates competent technical skills in the use of imaging equipment, quality control and troubleshooting.
Qualifications Required:
Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology Basic Life Support (BLS)
Additional Certification & Licensure Information:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Required (in the state of CA this is preferred)
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required for CA only (not applicable in other states)
- Fluoroscopy s required by state only
- Board eligible candidates to sit for the
ARRT, RT
(R) credential may be hired as long as they can show they have successfully completed the educational/clinical requirements.
- Must pass registry boards within 90 days of hire.
