Job Description/Summary:
The RadiologyTechnologist I performs routine diagnostic radiographs and isresponsible for performing minor interventional procedures underthe supervision of a radiologist and/or licensed fluoroscopicsupervisor.
Minimum Training and Education:
- Graduation from anaccredited school of radiologic technology.
0-2 years workexperience. Must be registered with the American Registry of RadiologicTechnologists. Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation QualityStandards Association is required.
Required Licensure,Certifications, Registrations:
- Must be registered with theAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
Licensure from theSouth Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certificationfrom an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for HealthcareProviders (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red CrossCPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. AdvancedCardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
