Responsibilities:

Ability to fulfill all responsibilities of Nurse/Clinical Techand Patient Care Specialist position as detailed in the specificNurse/Clinical Tech and Patient Care Specialist jobdescription. The ability to deliver clinical and administrative support forthe team and adhere to all policies and procedures of the company. Monitor and track x-ray orders so they can be completed andsubmitted in a timelymanner. Assist patient with proper positioning during the exam toensure diagnostic quality. Ensure that their activities are conducted in a manner that isconsistent with overall department expectations and comply withfederal and state regulations, guidelines, and requirementsincluding working knowledge of all health informationmanagementissues such as HIPAA. Review exam images for initial read by provider. Send final images to Radiology group for over read. Responsible to correctly label laterality of all images by theuse of initialed leadmarker. Confirm that no removable artifacts are in the anatomyrequested, and ensure the proper technique (“S” number) is usedappropriate for the exam. Any artifacts appearing in the anatomy ofinterest must have a solid explanation (direct refusal or inabilityby patient to remove) noted in the history. Ability to address minor maintenance issues with the machines,and to follow up with nurse coordinator (or Clinic Director intheir absence) for consultation prior to any outsourcingcalls. Monitor the condition of the cassettes and other equipment inthe x-ray room for signs of wear or malfunction and submit problemsfound as soon as possible to the Imaging Director so the issues canbe rectified. Cassettes, chest bucky, and exam table are to becleaned after each use to avoid cross contamination Maintains and distributes pregnancy waiver forms whereapplicable. Triage patients by checking and recording vitals, collect andrecord pertinent clinical history and all other information deemednecessary for proper charting in the EMS. Performblood draws, giveinjections, administer oral medications and perform other basicnursing tasks when not directly in the course of a radio graphicalexam if applicable in yourstate. Monitors and reads X-Ray badge monthly. Radiation Monitors must be worn at all times when in the X-Rayroom and maintain reporting as required. Responsible for learning the aspects of compliance in thecompany by completing all mandatory compliance training. Welcome new employees on their first day in the clinic andfacilitate introductions to team members, clinic tours, and anoverview of the clinic processes. Actively assist new employees with learning activities andcompleting required training. Support new employee training by providing job shadowing,demonstration, and coaching opportunities The ability to maintain friendly, cordial relations with allemployees. The ability to build and maintain confidence and credibilitywith all employees. The ability to maintain friendly, cordial relations with allclients and employees; maintain a positive work atmosphere byacting and communicating in a manner that results in a positivework relationship with customers, co-workers andmanagers. CurrentLicense or Certification:

ARRT License (Registered Technologist) State License (Registered Technologists’ and LimitedScope) License must be active, in good standing, and verifiable withthe proper regulatory agency. TB and IV Certification required to be obtained within 60 daysof employment and maintained during employment if applicable inyour state.
