Mammo Tech Position Available In Orangeburg, South Carolina

Mammo Tech 2.8 2.8 out of 5 stars 1728 Village Park Drive, Orangeburg, SC 29118 Mammo Technologist needed for busy outpatient diagnostic imaging facility. We are looking for a Full-time. Hours will be Monday-Thursday, 8:00am-5:00pm and Friday, 8:00am-12:00pm.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform mammography exams and procedures per established standards and guidelines, on a 3D mammo machine. It will be a Hologic 3D. Assumes responsibility for performing mammography examinations that are technically satisfactory, properly positioned and processed adequately. Demonstrate an understanding of human breast anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Provide patient education and answer questions regarding mammography exams and procedures. Employee must remain current in all policies and procedures to ensure consistent quality of knowledge and performance. Performs necessary quality control procedures to ensure quality exams are performed. Maintains patient satisfaction, comfort and adheres to proper safety procedures. Responsible for maintaining current licensure and certification.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• ARRT Mammography certification
• State of South Carolina registered license.

CPR / BLS

certification.

• Continuing Education – 200+ exams and 15 breast / 24 general

CME / CEU

credits

• Must be able to pass background screening

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• ACR Accreditation / MQSA Regulations experience.
• 2-3 years Mammography experience
