Per Week Job Overview:

MUSC Health Orangeburg is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform high-quality imaging procedures under general supervision in a fast-paced, Level III Trauma and acute care setting. The CT Technologist will serve a diverse patient population ranging from infants to geriatrics and must be comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform CT scans according to established protocols for emergency, inpatient, and interventional cases. Start IVs, administer contrast, and assist with biopsy procedures. Operate imaging equipment and PACS system with precision and safety. Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR (Epic preferred). Adhere to radiation safety protocols and use appropriate protective equipment, including personal radiation badge.

Requirements:

Minimum Experience:

1 year ARRT (CT) SCRQSA (CT) – South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association BLS (AHA)

Education:

Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.

License:

Must have active South Carolina licensure at time of start (pending not accepted).

Radiation Badge:

Required (must be provided by agency).
