Primary Duties:
Archives raw data to obtainthe best possible image.
Develops films in automatic processor andensures films are of acceptable diagnostic quality andcompleteness.
- Transfers images from disc or magnetic media toproduce transparency.
Ensures patients are free of objects that mayinterfere with the procedure.
- Transfers, positions, and instructspatients
- regarding
- the procedure to obtain and effect the desiredradiographic diagnostic results as specified by thephysician.
Instructs and
- demonstrates
- MRI equipment operation,filming, and other technical aspects for professional staff andstudents.
- Notifies
- appropriate personnel
- of equipmentmalfunctions and repairs needed.
- Schedules MRI examinations whenneeded to ensure smooth flow and optimal utilization
- ofequipment.
Operates control console for each patient’s scan,including selection of proper imaging techniques;
- operates-various peripheral hardware.
- Enters patient data at start ofexamination and monitors data acquisition during procedure.
Qualifications:
