The Radiology Technologist II performs routine diagnostic radiographs and is responsible for performing minor interventional procedures under the supervision of a radiologist and/or licensed fluoroscopic supervisor.

Minimum Training and Education:

Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology. Minimum of 1 year work experience. Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.

Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations:

Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
