JOB SUMMARY
Performs radiological procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performance of these duties and procedures requires independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis. Performs radiological procedures for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Education and/or experience: Currently enrolled in and completed at least three (3) semesters of Radiologic Technology. Formal computer training is preferred.
Knowledge:
Must possess the necessary skills to perform radiological procedures for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills. Demonstrates selfdirection in improving and acquiring the skills and abilities necessary to enhance job performance.
Abilities:
Have excellent manners and must represent facility in such a way that patients feel well cared for and would return to facility in future. Demonstrates proper telephone etiquette, and strong attention to detail. Comfortable learning and working with new computer systems. Be able to meet or exceed patient satisfaction at all times. Must be able to work independently. Must be able to interact with patients and staff in a courteous, professional manner.
