Urgent Team is looking for experienced Limited License X-RayTechnologists/Medical Assistants to join our team at our centers inKnoxville, Maryville, Lenoir City, and Morristown, TN. PRN shiftscurrently availalable.

Urgent Team’s convenient, walk-in centersprovide a range of healthcare services including treatments forinjuries and illnesses, occupational health and wellness care. Thecenters are open seven days a week: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.to 8 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Additionally, allUrgent Team centers are Accredited Care Centers

KEYRESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties and responsibilitiesgenerally reflect the expectations of this position but are notintended to be all inclusive. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Performs timely radiology procedures for subsequent evaluation andtreatment by attending physician
  • Performs necessary qualitycontrol procedures to ensure quality exams are performed
  • Prepares patients for radiologic procedures and follows establishedclinical and regulatory procedures in regards to patient safety andcare; including proper radiation protection and shieldingtechniques.
  • Ensures that equipment is in proper working orderand reports any malfunctions to the Area Manager or provider onduty.
  • Follows documentation procedures and completes requireddocumentation related to patient visit.
  • Assumes responsibilityfor maintaining and improving diagnostic imaging knowledge andskills with the support and assistance of outside educationalresources
  • Responsible for maintaining current licensure andcertification for the facility radiology equipment and licensure
WHAT’S REQUIRED?
  • High school diploma or equivalent educationbased on certification type; skills in Medical Assisting arerequired
  • State X-Ray license, or willingness to get upon hire,is required
