JOB SUMMARY
- Performs various roles involved in interventional imagingprocedures. These roles are performed in accordance withestablished departmental policies and procedures to ensure the bestpossible patient care services are delivered.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reviews radiology exam requests and patient identification toensure safe, appropriate and cost-effective imaging.
- Applies broad range of skills to ensure exam is completed timelyand meets quality and compliance standards.
- Provides appropriate Interventional screening process topatients, staff and self-according to prescribed safetystandards.
- Assists in the orientation and training of new staff.

TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES
- Radiology (Novice): Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiencyto successfully demonstrate radiology services in practicalapplications of moderate difficulty.
- Anatomy & Physiology Knowledge (Novice): Possesses sufficientfundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate anatomy andphysiology knowledge in practical applications of moderatedifficulty.
- Patient Documentation (Novice): Possesses sufficient fundamentalproficiency to successfully demonstrate patient documentation inpractical applications of moderate difficulty. Generally, worksunder the direction of others while accomplishing assignments.
- Compliance (Novice): Can explain and apply basic statutoryinstructions in normal situations on the job.
Understands theprinciples upon which the rules and regulations are based.
Appropriately escalates problems relating to rules and regulationsin timely and effective manner.
