X-Ray Technician/Medical Assistant Erlanger Express Care Hixson, TN

• Sign on bonus
• Must have RT (radiology tech) certification/license.

Pay is based off experience starting at $30.00/hr

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, as directed by physicians
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with safety protocols
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
• Evaluate images for quality and accuracy, and collaborate with radiologists to interpret results
• Maintain patient records and documentation of procedures performed

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an X-ray Technician or in a similar role
• Proficiency in performing diagnostic evaluations using medical imaging techniques
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, such as an emergency room or urgent care setting

Skills:

• Strong technical skills in operating X-ray equipment and other medical imaging devices
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate positioning and image quality
• Effective communication skills to interact with patients and medical professionals
