Position Summary:
Assists radiological technologists with a variety of radiographic procedures using fixed and mobile radiographic equipment in general, fluoroscopic, surgical, trauma and mobile environments.
Assists RT(R)s with other patient procedures.
Communicates with other members of healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
Transports patients as needed for exams.
Utilizes information system.
Demonstrates competency with radiology information System, PACS, Cerner, Radnet, etc.
Demonstrates ability to use hospital information system.
Position Qualification:
Certificate Preferred
Current RT student and/or eligible for registry.
6 months – 1 year related experience Required
Years of Experience can be related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
