Travel We are looking for a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MRITech) for an immediate travel opening in Knoxville, TN. The rightMRI Tech must have 1 year of experience. Read below for additionalrequirements. As an MRI Tech, you will be responsible for the use of magneticresonance imaging equipment and ensuring that images are accurateand passed on to physicians for medical interpretation. MRI Techsare also responsible for the preparation of and caring for patientsundergoing MRI imaging. Tasks As an MRI Tech, you should be prepared to perform the followingtasks: Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explainimaging procedures to patients providing reassurance and support asrequired Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedure performance Correctly interpret doctors’ written instructions Position patients for MRI scans using immobilization and protectiveequipment to comply with government regulations and to ensure thesafety of patients and staff Assist radiologist with procedure performance Start I.V.s, administer contrast media as directed and perprotocol Evaluate MRI scans for technical quality, collate processed imagesand sequence of exposure and label appropriately Load and operate power injectors for contrast mediaadministration Follow safety procedures when working with radiation Maintain accurate patient records Understand and use the McKesson PACS system Requirements Must have 1 year of experience. BLS, ARRT

(MR) or ARMRITNational Certification with registration in magnetic resonanceimaging, and state-specific licensing when required. MRI Techs should be able to stand and walk for long periods oftime, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. MagneticResonance Imaging Technologists must have a sound knowledge ofanatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology. Requirements
