Job DescriptionJob SummaryPerforms various imaging procedures inaccordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.

COMPANYDESCRIPTIONFrye Regional Medical Center, located in the beautifulfoothills of North Carolina is a 355-bed acute care hospital,81-bed Behavioral Health facility and more than 70 primary andspecialty care providers. Essential Functions Reviews patient history and physician’s orders. Educatespatient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensurepatient’s understanding and cooperation. When ordered, prepares and administers contrast media and/ormedications within scope of practice. Monitors patient conditioncontinually and reports/responds to changes in status asappropriate. Prepares equipment and supplies. Selects appropriate exposurefactors and imaging parameters. Implements safety standards andperforms appropriate quality control procedures on equipment.

Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions asnecessary. Implements safety standards and performs appropriate qualitycontrol procedures on equipment. Troubleshoots, resolves, and/orreports equipment malfunctions as necessary. Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s). Analyzesresults and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results.

Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, includingrepositioning patient and repeating procedure. Enters, transmitsand reports scan results.
