Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to,experience, skills, education, performance and salary range at thetime of the offer. Responsibilities Take radiologic films providingquality images to physicians to aid in the diagnosis of medicalproblems. Prepare and position patients for imaging and selectexposure factors accurately. Prepare and administer contrast mediaand medications within the accepted scope of practice andapplicable state and federal regulations. Observe patient duringprocedure and reports abnormal activity. Monitor protocols andrecommend updates or refinement as warranted. Follow radiationsafety procedures and guidelines. Prevens patient from beingexposed to unnecessary radiation. Ensure prompt submission ofhigh-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (imagequality, correct lead markers and patient data/history). Ensureequipment is properly functioning. Report potential problems orequipment malfunction to appropriate personnel. Lock/tag outequipment if appropriate. Assists in maintaining a clean, andorderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas,dressing rooms, film storage area and any other areas indepartment. Position patients and select anatomic and technicalparameters accurately. Requirements Licensure / Certification /

Registration:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) ofhire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Associationor American Red Cross accepted. One or more of the followingrequired: Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the CardiovascularCredentialing International (CCI) obtained within 3 Months (90days) of hire date or job transfer date. Radiologic Technologistspecializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registryof Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 3 Months (90days) of hire date or job transfer date. Medical Sonographercredentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic MedicalSonography (ARDMS) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire dateor job transfer date.

Education:

High School diploma equivalencywith 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate’sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative jobspecific experience required.
