Essential Functions:
Performs CT and X-Ray proceduresat a technical level not requiring constant supervision oftechnical detail. Obtains patient history, explains standardprocedures and addresses patient concerns. Produces computerizedtomographic and conventional radiographs of specific areas asrequired by the departmental procedures. Performs those dutiesdirectly involved with a variety of technical procedures applyingionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology.
Regulates the equipment used to expose the x-ray film, develops anddocuments PACS imaging. Operates equipment safely and maintainsSimonMed standards while performing call types of procedures.
Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professionalrelationship with fellow employees, other departments, and facilitystaff. Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Works under general supervision.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Requires registration as aRadiography Technologist by the A.R.R.T. Requires registration as aCertified Radiologic Technologist by the State SimonMed Imagingrequires valid hands on CPR certification
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Thisposition may require duties including lifting and carrying up to 40pounds, sitting for prolonged periods of time, with frequentstanding and walking.
