• Weekend Under the supervision of a radiologist and the direction ofdepartment leadership, this position competently performs imagingon all general radiographic equipment and is provided theopportunity and encouragement to expand their skill set into othermodalities such as Interventional Radiology, Mammography, CT, MRI,and Bone Density.

Responsible for appropriate scanning and imagingprotocols in all qualified in all areas where competent andcertified. Must have the ability to recognize general radiographyanatomy. Responsible for providing service excellence and complyingwith hospital policies and procedures. Uses the RIS/PACS and HISfor proper recording of patient exams and dissemination of patientresults. Minimum Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have completed an approved and accredited Radiology Technologyprogram Minimum Work Experience
• Recent, up to one year, hospitalrelated experience
• Digital Imaging and post processing PACSexperience
• Portable and in department fluoroscopy procedures
• Operating Room procedures Required Licenses/Certifications
• Current state R.T. license required.
• BLS Certification throughAmerican Heart Association.
• Must obtain 24 ECE credits, in atwo-year period, for re-certification and licensure.
• Completionof endorsed patient/visitor de-escalation and restraint programcertification
• ARRT Certified
• Specialty ARRT Certificationshighly desirable.
• Must obtain within 3 months of hire RequiredSkills, Knowledge, and Abilities
• Ability to maintain competenciesin all certified modalities.
• Willingness to accommodatescheduling flexibility to support staffing patterns that meetpatient flow.
• Knowledge and ability to provide care based onphysical and psychosocial development and safety issues related topatients of all age groups, including infant, child, adolescent,adult and geriatric.
• Demonstrated moderate knowledge of basiccomputer skills. Pay Range = $28.71
