• Weekend Under the supervision of a radiologist, and direction ofthe Lead CT Tech, this position competently performs imaging on amulti-detector CT scanner.

Responsible for scanning and imagingprotocols. Must have the ability to recognize cross-sectionalanatomy, performs CTA’s and inject contrast media where applicable.

Responsible for providing service excellence and complying withhospital policies and procedures. Uses the RIS/PACS and HIS forproper recording of patient exams and dissemination of patientresults. Minimum Education

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program MinimumWork Experience
• Recent, up to one year, hospital relatedexperience
• Digital Imaging and post processing PACS experienceRequired Licenses/Certifications
• Must possess current Vt. stateRT license
• BLS Certification through American Heart Association
• Must obtain 24 ECE credits, in a two year period, forre-certification and licensure
• CT certified by ARRT or obtaining(must obtain within one year of employment) Required Skills,Knowledge, and Abilities
• Knowledge and ability to provide carebased on physical and psychosocial development and safety issuesrelated to patients of all age groups, including infant, child,adolescent, adult and geriatric.
• Demonstrated moderate knowledgeof basic computer skills.
