Under thesupervision of a radiologist and the direction of theadministrator, this position competently performs imaging on allgeneral radiographic equipment. Responsible for radiographic andimaging protocols. Must have the ability to recognize generalradiography anatomy. Responsible for providing service excellenceand complying with hospital policies and procedures. Uses theRIS/PACS and HIS for proper recording of patient exams anddissemination of patient results. Minimum Education

• High SchoolDiploma or equivalent
• Must have completed an approved andaccredited Radiology Technology program Minimum Work Experience
• Recent, up to one year, hospital related experience
• DigitalImaging and post processing PACS experience
• Portable and indepartment fluoroscopy procedures
• Operating Room proceduresRequired Licenses/Certifications
• Current state R.T. licenserequired.
• BLS Certification through American Heart Association.
• Must obtain 24 ECE credits, in a two year period, forre-certification and licensure.
• ARRT Certified Required Skills,Knowledge, and Abilities
• Knowledge and ability to provide carebased on physical and psychosocial development and safety issuesrelated to patients of all age groups, including infant, child,adolescent, adult and geriatric.
• Demonstrated moderate knowledgeof basic computer skills. Pay Range = $28.71
