Requirements:
Must pass a background check and drug screen This is a full-time position Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy or OccupationalTherapist Assistant or Certification as a Therapeutic RecreationSpecialist (CTRS) or 2 years experience in a full-time, therapeuticprogram (social or recreational) within the last five years or hascompleted a state-approved training course Demonstrated skills in developing and implementingindividualized patient-care plans Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizationalskills Ability to work independently as well as in a teamenvironment Familiarity with regulatory and accreditation requirements forrecreation therapy programs
Essential Job Functions:
To plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct theActivity Programs by current federal, state, and local standardsgoverning the facility, and may be directed by the Administrator,to ensure that the spiritual development, emotional, recreationaland social needs of the residents are met and maintained on anindividual basis. #J-18808-Ljbffr
