This position requires dedication to a job well done, dependability, flexibility, accountability, and a positive attitude is a must. Must enjoy working with our residents and families. We are a subsidiary of Crowne Health Care, an Alabama-based system of family-owned nursing facilities. Requirements:

Must pass a background check and drug screen This is a full-time position Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy or Occupational Thearpist Assistant or Certification as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) or 2 years experience in a full-time, therapeutic program (social or recreational) within the lazt five years or Has completed a state-approved training course Demonstrated skills in developing and implementing individualized patient-care plans Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment Familiarity with regulatory and accreditation requirements for recreation therapy programs Essential Job Functions To plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct the Activity Programs by current federal, state, and local standards governing the facility, and may be directed by the Administrator, to ensure that the spiritual development, emotional, recreational and social needs of the residents are met and maintained on an individual basis. #INDMED
