Salary:

$50,000-$55,000/year

ABOUT THE POSITION ASAP!

is seeking a highly organized and motivated full-time Operations Coordinator to join our team. This position is designed to start as an Assistant to the Directors during a three-month training period, with the intent to transition into the Operations Coordinator role after successful onboarding. This unique, growth-oriented opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented individual interested in nonprofit operations, administration, and arts education.

ASAP! is a nonprofit organization providing arts-infused education to students across Connecticut. Our mission is to foster creative hands-on learning through the arts. TRAINING PHASE

(First 3 Months) During this phase, the Operations Coordinator will primarily support the Executive Director and Program Director by: Learning systems including NEON CRM and QuickBooks Online Assisting with administrative, financial, and program-related tasks Gaining insight into internal policies and procedures Support at programs Assist with mailings, database entries, and vendor communications Helping with document preparation including contracts, agreements, and compliance filings

FULL ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

(After 3-Month Training Period) Once transitioned into the full Operations Coordinator role, the responsibilities will expand to include: Database & Administration Maintain and update donor, student, and registration data in NEON Track and process payments, donations, and registrations Assist with government filings and insurance documentation Oversee office supply orders and general office operations Perform background checks and manage volunteer paperwork Bookkeeping Support Reconcile bank accounts and prepare deposits Maintain records in QuickBooks Prepare financial reports and assist with annual audits Program & Event Support Help train Program Assistant on organizing registration materials, rosters, and supply needs for programs and summer camps Assist in event planning and logistics, including check-in, seating, and volunteer coordination Support fundraising campaigns and assist in donor communications and appeal mailings Additional Responsibilities Act as an accessibility coordinator Support camp operations Assist with community and fundraising events as needed. 5-8 weekend days per year.

QUALIFICATIONS

Strong organizational and communication skills Willingness to learn nonprofit operations and systems Proficiency in Google Suite Familiarity with or willingness to learn NEON CRM and QuickBooks Flexible, collaborative, and reliable
