- The Recreation Therapist at The Vines Hospital is responsible for organizing, coordinating, and leading recreational therapy, emotional, and social well-being of patients.
- This role involves assessing patients’ needs, developing individualized recreational plans, and facilitating activities to promote rehabilitation and enjoyment.
- The therapist collaborates with clinical staff, observes patients progress, and adjusts therapy plans as needed to support patients’ therapeutic goals and enhance their quality of life within the healthcare setting.
- Bachelors Degree Required
- Certification as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS)
- Active Florida Driver’s License
- Handle with Care
- Verbal De-Escalation
