Teaching Full Job Description Position Summary:

The Croquet Professional is responsible for leading and developing a high-quality croquet program that engages members of all skill levels. This role includes organizing clinics, private lessons, tournaments, and social events, while promoting sportsmanship, community, and enthusiasm for the game.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide private and group instruction tailored to all skill levels. Organize and oversee clinics, tournaments, exhibitions, and social events. Manage and maintain croquet lawns, equipment, and clubhouse facilities. Foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for players of all ages and abilities. Promote participation through outreach, communication, and personalized engagement with members. Maintain a visible presence on the lawns to answer questions and encourage involvement. Ensure compliance with club policies. Assist with scheduling, registration, and coordination of croquet-related events. Contribute to seasonal planning and budget development for the croquet program.

Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of croquet rules, strategies, and teaching techniques. Prior experience teaching or coaching croquet, preferably in a club setting. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Professional, enthusiastic, and service-oriented demeanor. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
