The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for enhancing the quality of life for our clients through effective program management and community engagement. This role requires a strategic thinker who can oversee operations, manage schedules, and foster a collaborative environment among staff and stakeholders. Duties Develop and implement programs that support individuals with disabilities, focusing on long-term care and community integration. Manage schedules effectively to ensure optimal staffing and resource allocation across various programs. Collaborate with social workers, recreational therapists, and caregivers to create comprehensive care plans tailored to individual needs. Plan and coordinate events that promote community involvement and awareness of services offered. Oversee the daily operations of the organization, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Communicate effectively with staff, clients, families, and external partners to build strong relationships and facilitate support networks. Monitor program outcomes and make data-driven decisions to improve service delivery. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in social work, recreational therapy, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Proven experience in managing programs or services for individuals with disabilities. Strong skills in schedule management, event planning, and caregiving practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage diverse audiences. Knowledge of long-term care practices and home community care approaches is highly desirable. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also demonstrating leadership capabilities. Passion for advocating for individuals with disabilities and enhancing their quality of life through innovative programming.
