$44.4K – $54.8K a year 2 days ago Qualifications Skilled nursing facility Medicare Resident’s rights English Mid-level Administrative experience Bachelor’s degree Health Science Marketing Full Job Description We are currently hiring a Marketer to manage our Skilled Nursing facility admission process, as well as, track, monitor, and analyze the facility’s referral pattern and admission data; provide patrons with facility related information via facility tours, personal visits/assessments, as well as, correspondence and follow-up; devise and implement an effective marketing strategy to build positive community relations and an extended customer base in order to enhance market share of referrals; coordinate and manage all admissions into the facility by maintaining efficient and effective communication with all participating departments.
MAJOR TASKS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Establish positive relations with residents, families, and the community at large; implements facility’s marketing plan; tours potential residents, families, and/or community representatives. Take inquiry calls from hospitals, physicians, families, etc. giving or scheduling tours, and answering questions regarding the facility’s services provided. Ensure responses to inquiries are handled in a timely fashion and with appropriate follow-up. Accurately completes the admission process in accordance with current regulations, policies, and procedures. Coordinate new admissions with appropriate departments, such as nursing, therapy, housekeeping, etc. Assist in development of facility materials such as brochures, press releases, and yellow page advertisements that describe the facility’s services. Conduct sales and marketing visits to hospitals, physicians, community organizations, etc. to promote the facility and enhance the overall census. Demonstrate strong ethical practices regarding individual/ resident rights. Develop and execute special events in the community to positively represent the facility for its skilled nursing and rehabilitation care. Follow checklist for chart reviews. Must be able to work cooperatively as a member of a team. Keep confidential all patient information received. Comply with state and federal regulations and all relevant facility policies. Participate in facility functions, in-services, continuing education, and departmental meetings. Able to work scheduled hours while allowing for flexibility to meet unique facility needs. Conduct self in a competent and professional manner. Engage in goal directed problem solving with team members when indicated. Undertake projects as requested with satisfactory completion and within established time frames. (i.e. Assigned 4 residents for Guardian Angel duty) Evaluate and maintain Performance Improvement Program within the department to include regular identification of potential problems, and offering constructive suggestions for corrective action when required. Can be relied upon to be at work or give appropriate notification of absence per facility guidelines. Perform all other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Undergraduate degree in Health Science or the equivalent in a related field, or equivalent experience. Must have the ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish this job. Ability to communicate effectively in English through verbal and written means. Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents and families, as well as, work independently and cooperatively with others. Must be able to perform the Essential Job Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to work under stress and in emergency situations. Must have working knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, insurances and Managed Process. Possess related administrative knowledge and experience at a level necessary to accomplish this job.
