Summary:
The Activities Aide – MCH role is responsible for developing and implementing programs and activities that provide life-enriching opportunities for the residents through a highly diverse and adapted program offering that reflects the interests, values, and beliefs of the residents.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education:
Coursework in Recreational Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Sociology, Education, Social Work or other healthcare field preferred.
License/Certifications:
N/A
Experience:
Experience in a clinical setting working with the elderly preferred. Experience working with people with dementia in a residential setting preferred.
