Culinary Arts Program Coordinator 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars 50 College Rd, Bolivia, NC 28422 General Function Under general supervision, the Culinary Program Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of the culinary arts program, including curriculum development, student recruitment, credentialing, employer partnerships, and tracking student outcomes. The Coordinator also plays a key role in classroom instruction, monitoring inventory, maintaining program quality, and ensuring effective classroom management Essential Duties and Responsibilites Delivers dynamic, hands-on instruction tailored to students of diverse backgrounds and varying academic abilities. Supervises a relevant and engaging workforce development culinary program, ensuring alignment with employer expectations. Actively recruits and retains students, promoting the program to prospective students and building relationships with high schools and other educational institutions. Building and maintaining relationships with industry partners, including chefs, restaurants, and food companies, to provide students with practical experience and career opportunities. Manages work-based learning placements at various establishments throughout Brunswick County. Monitoring and evaluates program quality, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes to enhance student outcomes. Develops high quality courses that are affordable and available to adult learners seeking a career in culinary arts. Providing leadership and guidance to faculty, staff, and students, creating a positive and supportive learning environment. Serve as the primary liaison between administration, faculty, students, and external partners. Promote a transparent, inclusive, and communicative program environment. Monitors inventory, operates within a budget, anticipates program purchases, and identifies necessary equipment needed for the program. Develops and maintains course schedules, instructional contracts, syllabi, and detailed course descriptions.
