QUALIFICATIONS
Valid New Jersey Supervisor Certificate Minimum 5 years teaching experience Formal training or relevant experience with curriculum, technology, and instructional best practices Broad knowledge of instructional technology equipment and applications, online services, technology resources, and integration of technology across the curriculum Demonstrated ability to develop long-range plans for curriculum and related budget analysis Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
REPORTS TO
Director of Curriculum and Special Education
JOB GOAL
To provide support to the Director of Curriculum and Special Education in the development and implementation in all areas related to curriculum and coordination of professional development. To assist with curriculum implementation in the schools and oversee summer programming.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides planning and training for all summer programming. Works with administrators and staff to achieve the New Jersey Student Learning Standards and educational goals and objectives. Works cooperatively with the Director of Curriculum in planning and implementing the effective use of instructional technology across the curriculum. Assists in the planning and implementation of the District’s in-service education program for the instructional staff. Evaluates the District’s curriculum; recommends changes as appropriate. Assists in the development and coordination of the sections of the budget that relate to programming. Performs other duties within the scope of employment and certification as may be assigned.
