Job Description
Activity Staff Better Days Adult Day Care 130 North Main Street, New City, NY 10956 We are hiring a Part-Time or Full Time Activities Assistant to join our team at our Better Days Adult Day Care.
HOURS:
8:30AM- 3:30PM Implement activities and follow calendar created by Recreation Director Encourage Clients involvement in activities Assist in decorating the center for holidays and special events Maintain knowledge of Client’s backgrounds, hobbies, special interests, and languages spoken, etc., and uses this knowledge to encourage Clients involvement
Qualifications:
Outgoing, warm and caring personality that loves seniors Must have experience and knowledge of working with individuals that have dementia. Patient individual that can multitask Dependable and able to supervise activities, special events and excursions for the Clients Creative talents in one or more areas such as art, music, readings, dance, etc. is a PLUS Proven ability to lead classes/instructional learning sessions and speak in front of a group setting with ease and clarity
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time Pay:
$15.00 – $17.00 per hour
