Activities Director – Bishopville Carlyle Senior Care Of Bishopville Llc 207 Chappell Dr, Bishopville, SC 29010 Carlyle Senior Care of Bishopville is currently seeking an Activity Director to join our team! Activity Director Responsibilities Include:

Plan, schedule, and implement a program of individual and group activities based on resident’s needs, interests and level of function. These activities may include but are not limited to social activities, exercise, spiritual programs, and creative activities such as arts, crafts, and music. Prepare a monthly calendar of events and post it throughout the facility to be visible to residents and visitors. Assess and complete the sections of the Minimum Data Set (MDS) assigned completely, timely and accurately. Identify and document in the resident’s care plan, the activity interests, needs, and concerns of the resident. Care plans are to be reviewed and updated as necessary but at least quarterly. Document all interaction with resident and/or family in the assessment, care plan and progress notes as required by federal and state requirements. Plan and conduct Resident Council meetings. Plan and implement evening and weekend functions as necessary. Recruit, schedule and supervise assistants and volunteers. Organize and schedule community events related to residents’ interests. Supervise barber and beauty parlor activities. Plan, schedule and implement room visits and in-room activities for residents unable to leave their rooms. Maintain an activity attendance record for each resident. Assess needs and maintain an adequate supply of materials to implement activity programs. Observe infection control procedures related to the Activity Program, including identification of residents not appropriate to attend out-of-room activity programs for health related reasons. Be responsible for the safety of residents under his/her supervision. Assume Quality Assurance duties as assigned. Incorporate parties, socials, and other special events in conjunction with other disciplines in the facility, if applicable. This will include decorating the facility seasonally. Attend stand-up meetings, QA, care plan meetings, etc. as scheduled. Observe all facility safety policies and procedures. Observe infection control procedures. Follow Residents Rights policies at all times. Consistently present yourself to work with an appropriate, professional appearance. Consistently work cooperatively with residents, residents’ representatives, facility staff, physicians, consultants, and ancillary service providers. Perform all duties assigned in an effective, cooperative, timely and professional manner.
