As a Nurse Practitioner with QTCMedical Group Inc., dba QTC Medical Group California, a Leidos QTCHealth Service affiliated professional corporation, you willconduct a variety of general medicine, occupational, and disabilityhealth examinations including, but not limited to: Reviewing medical history and associated records Interpreting clinical data Completing written reports and generating independent medicalopinions (IMO) The examinations may be completed in-person (in aclinic setting), in the examinee’s home, telephonically, at largeevent settings for the Reserve Health Readiness Program, or usingtelehealth platforms. You will be traveling (up to 30%) to providephysical examinations for veterans and service members in multiplelocations throughout the country. All travel expenses are coveredand a per diem will be received.

Salary:
$110,000-$160,000 (based on years of experience and education) witha potential annual bonus up to 30%. Work Schedule, Location, Whatto expect: Generally Mon-Fri 8:00 am-5:00 pm with a 1-hour lunch from12:00-1:00 pm. Possible infrequent weekends/evening coveragedepending on clinic needs but max hours per week will be 40. 30% national travel Clinic Address- 901 Campus Dr., Ste 302, Daly City, CA94015 3 weeks onboarding / training 4-5 VA patients daily with 4 hours of admin time, 10-12patients daily with other lines of business We will pay for licensing in 12 additional states and CMEcosts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Physical examinations for the following lines of business:
Department of Defense, Department of Justice, and Department ofLabor. Occupational health exams to include pre- and post-employmentand annual physicals. Generalist approach to multi-system disability evaluations toinclude evaluations of conditions specific to the militaryoperational environment like Gulf War and Prisoner of War Most examinations are in-person evaluations, but some may becompleted virtually or by medical record review only. Housebound physical examinations Completion of Veterans Benefits Administration DisabilityBenefit Questionnaires (DBQs) Provide primary medical evaluations to include, but not limitedto, initial review of laboratory, pulmonary function and ECGstudies Documentation of examinee records in appropriatesystems. Collaboration with other professional and support staff asneeded and communicate with internal and client team members indetermining the most effective and evidence-based way forward onbehalf of the examinee populations
Competencies:
Demonstrates compassion, professionalism, and a commitment toproviding excellent customer service and care to theclaimants. From a primary care perspective, be able to fully assessexaminee health status through physical examinations. Collaborative, proactive and informed standard of care-centric,decision-making skills. Analytical ability necessary to evaluate and determine medicalopinions. Technically competent with computers/tablets to includeproficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,Outlook) and using Electronic Medical Records Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHAregulations Must be able to receive a medical clearance that may consist ofpassing an N95 respirator fit test, pass a Tuberculosis/TB test andreceive a Hepatitis A/B vaccine series or pass a Hepatitis A/BTiteror test. Experience:
(includescertificate & licenses) Unrestricted State medical licensure without limitations toperform full scope of authorized practice National Licensing with ANCC or AANP Valid DEA license Completed Education and training in an US accredited,post-baccalaureate (Masters) Minimum 3 years of post-graduate primary care experience Valid CPR or BLS certification Ability to pass a medical clearance Ability to pass a NACI clearance
Preferred Experience:
Specialty/sub-specialty clinical experience. Experience conducting occupational/disability medicalexaminations.
