Qualifications and requirements Applicants should have acurrent state RN license.

Additional requirements include:

BasicLife Support certification is required within 30 days of hire. ACLSand PALS are required within six months of hire. One year ofexperience preferred 2 year or greater of Charge nurse experience.

Serves asa clinical resources for staff on their assigned shift or unit.

Coordinates patient care and delegates duties and responsibilitiesto staff and holds individuals accountable for outcomes achievedFirst line supervisor over a group of employees or a unit. Mayinitiate disciplinary action and provide input into a subordinate’sperformance evaluations. Instructs workers in normal operationaltasks. Includes department managers of small departments.
