Description •10K Sign-On Bonus- with a 2/yr. commitment •Essential Functions Performs plan of care intervention, including medicationadministration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as wellas other medical care treatment. Documents patient care given. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition asappropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family. Assists patients with performing activities of daily living,including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, andambulation. Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patientcare, including patient transfer, discharge, referral andspiritual/psychosocial support needs. Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and providespatient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition,and circumstances. Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being ofthe patient. Qualifications Associate’s degree Required Bachelor’s Degree Preferred Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and theability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in astressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) ACLS Certification required after 6 months in ICU. PALSCertification required after 6 months in
ICU. CCRN
Certificationpreferred within 2 years for experienced ICU RNs or within 3 yearsfor new grad RNs. Successful completion of a Basic Dysrhythmia exam within 90days. •BLS obtained within 30 days of hire date
