L&D/ LDRP
Registered Nurse will collaborate withphysicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe andpositive birth experiences.
In this role you will:
Monitor the health status of mothers and newborns throughoutthe labor process. Administer medications and perform necessary medical proceduressuch as phlebotomizing and IV placement. Assist with labor management, including providing education andemotional support to patients. Conduct assessments of maternal-fetal well-being usingappropriate laboratory tests and monitoring equipment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop andimplement individualized care plans. Respond to emergencies with critical care skills, ensuringprompt intervention when necessary. Educate patients on postpartum care, breastfeeding, and newborncare practices. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities incompliance with ICD-10 coding standards. Qualifications Education:
Graduation from an accredited Bachelors of Science inNursing, Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diplomaprogram.
Licenses/Certification:
