• JobSummary and Qualification
• The Registered Nurse coordinates anddelivers high quality, patient-centered care by the nature andspecific requirements of the department.

The care is consistentwith the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state andspecialty. In collaboration with medical providers, the RN providesindividualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care. We useestablished nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, andManage.” The RN serves as an advocate forpatients/families/caregivers. Our nurses model a commitment to theorganization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleledpatient experience. Our clinical outcomes contribute to the overalldepartmental performance.

• What will you do in this role:
• Assesses patient condition during admission and during eachshift as scheduled and/or as needed, identifying and reporting anychanges in patient status.
• Performs the administration of prescribed medications. Monitorspatient for therapeutic response. Notifies provider and intervenesas appropriate in the event of an unintended response tomedication.
• Conducts complete patient evaluation before procedure,including review of patient history and diagnostic tests, as wellas physical and psychological assessments. Ensurespatient/family/caregiver understands the procedure and theperi-operative process. Obtains and witnesses consent form.
• Engages in evidence-based best practices that enhance thepatient experience, including SAFETY rounding, communicationfundamentals/AIDET, Teach-Back, Narrating Care, etc.
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills, including activelistening. Ensures patients, physicians, and colleagues have aclear understanding of all communications, and escalates careconcerns appropriately.
• What qualifications you will need:
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days ofemployment start date
• Registered Nurse
