Job Summary andQualifications Women`s ER Nurse The Registered Nurse performs direct patient care within the scopeof the Registered Nurse Practice Act. Utilizes therapeutic communication in daily practice. Maintains asafe therapeutic environment. Identifies nursing problems as theyrelate to the individual needs of the patient. Registered Nurseplans individualized patient care while utilizing aninterdisciplinary approach. Participates in performance improvementactivities. Provides care and coordinates participation thatfosters the goals of the hospitals mission and visionstatement. When acting in charge nurse role, registered nurses are responsiblefor day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patientcare in a therapeutic environment. Make staff assignments based onpatient need, acuity and the skill of the staff. Serve as rolemodels and clinical resource for the staff. Respond in a timelymanner to requests for information or follow-up with physician,staff or patient issues. What you will do in this role: You will demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development,assessment range of treatment, and care of Patients appropriate tothe ages of patients served. What qualifications you will need:

Social skills to positively engage with patients, guests,physicians, and other employees. Degree from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (B.S. orA.S.). Current licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or appropriatecompact State. BLS Labor and Delivery RN experience required. TriStar Centennial Medical Center is a 740+ bed comprehensivefacility.
