Wound Care/Treatment Nurse (RN) 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars 403 13th St NW, Fort Payne, AL 35967 Wound Care/Treatment Nurse (RN) Monday-Friday Full-Time We are currently accepting applications for a Wound Care nurse within our long-term care and rehab facility specializing in geriatrics. Communicate with the other Licensed Staff of the facility in assessing needs and results of staff action to assure residents do not decrease their functional abilities such as: obtain skin breakdown, contractures, weight loss, skin tears and so forth while in the facility. Provides treatment of ostomies, stomas, acute and chronic wounds, and urinary and fecal incontinence breakdowns. Be a team player whom works with other teams to assure treatments are coordinated with other events of the day; Assists the Nursing Department to assure residents care plans are followed; Documents on records as per policy and procedures of the facility; Participates in staff meetings and in-services as required.
